I'm not going to try and say I know the first thing about finance, but it's appalling how many people base their worldviews on what is obviously a sub-rudimentary understanding of finance. When you hear it, it's really obvious.

Yeah, there are a lot of people that think they know what they are talking about.

The sad thing is, they probabl heard it from someon ein a bank or something so they actually have good reasons to believe what they are saying.

One basic rule of finance is to never trust somebody's opinion unless you talked to someone that really knows finance.

A good rule of thumb:  if 95% of the people are doing something, they are most likely wrong. Always side with the 5%

Some people know alot about a certain system of economics.

for example keynsian economists are big fucking know it alls, but their lying, fraudulent, fascist system and ideology sucks balls.

what is really equitable is getting rid of fake interest in things that are made up of stuff that can't be used for anything but trading for fake interest.

I was arguing with a guy the other day
who told me that in order to establish credit
you have to incur interest on your credit cards
then slowly pay it back
i proceeded to tell him
that that is completely false
and he said i had no idea what i was talking about
