I live in the PNW and we had a whole week of rain recently so my friends and i went hunting several times.

We keep stumbling across these shrooms that look at first like stuntzii but the print comes out white.

I wish i had pics but didn't have a camera when we went hunting. I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea what species looks like stuntzii but has white spores? I can't find any info on it and I'd like to know what species it is so perhaps i can start to notice the differences between these and stuntzii.

You will be able to tell them apart by looking at the gill color in older specimens.

yeah I'm aware of that I've gone over most the info on this site far too many times to count just wondering what looks like a stuntzii but prints white.
