bearing children and its consequences.
    #4356560 - 06/30/05 08:11 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

i did not ask to be born in to a life of servitude.
i did not ask to be born into a world devoid of space.

is happiness first come first served?
why do i pay someone to live in a house they dont occupy?
why dont they pay me?
because they were born first, and claimed this land.

why is it illegal for me to kill and take what i need, when it was not so for those before me?
IS happiness first come first served?

there are too many of us.
far too many.

how many people are unemployed in the world? how many people cant feed themselves?
why do u think u can make more people, when we cant take care of the ones we have already?

in this world now, there is no place for new life to satisfy itself.
it must leech of what people have already.
i must drive on roads, and work day to day.

i dont want to be a part of this socialist disaster.
and there is no place to get away from it.
you've paved over everything.
all the land is occupied.
all the air is polluted, all the water.

just go have an abortion, abort yourself while your at it.
we dont need any more of you.

Ha. I hate seeing pregnant people. I can't understand how anyone would want to bring a life into this world. I suppose it is mostly an attempt to fulfill what they failed at in life. Living vicariously through their little heathen. Or maybe they can't resist the natural urge to reproduce. Either way it is appalling.

Abortions for all!

That's well written, if original.

Consider this - what makes you deserving of happiness than I?  If you truly feel that way, why haven't you "aborted" yourself?  And if happiness is first come first served, would you be upset if I tried to take something from you by stealth or by force and succeeded?  Isn't that a lot like how life actually is?

Just food for thought.  :mushroom2:

no one is more deserving than anyone else.
i have thought of aborting myself, i may.

i dont understand how your last statement relates to first come, first served.
you are bringing up a question i already asked. i dont think its right to take anything from others by force or stealth.
my statements were about preventing that situation by de-populating, and thus eliminating the need for people to take from each other. they would take from the earth.

Alright, so you believe that depopulation will decrease the need of people to take from others. By what mechanism? Making "things" more prevalent than people?

Or, is the theory that the earth itself can sustain a certain number of people, and we have way more than that number? If we lower the population we could, theoretically, eventually return to completely organic and natural methods of living, without the need to take from others?

I can appreciate the idea. But communism looked good on paper too. (I'm not comparing the concepts at all, mind you.) Human greed won't dissapear simply because it isn't necessary for survival. And it would take a massive scale of social and cultural engineering to create a mindset for people that sharing and giving selflessly to others is the only acceptable path. Then again, dropping the world's population by 3/4ths would create a good amount of change too..

By the way, don't abort yourself- there's always someone out there who enjoys an intelligent conversion.

by giving people enough space to where they could sustain themselves, without interfering with others ability to sustain themselves.

not to say groups are bad, but interdependence on such a mass scale im not so sure about. people arent cogs.

i would say groups are essential tho, for fullfillment.

I don't know if suicide or abortion are the answers to overpoulation or hunger.. As things stand the population of the world produces more than enough food to feed all of us, it's just an awful lot of it gets wasted..

Not to mention, in scientific studies it has been proven the the best method of birth control is food control.. If we have enough/too many people, level out the supply of food instead of increasing it every year (which we human beings currenly do), and work on getting it to everyone that needs it..

When you have an OBVIOUSLY shitty attitude towards the world.....people treat you like shit

When you make statements like this...
Quote:

i dont want to be a part of this socialist disaster.
and there is no place to get away from it.

You sound like you have already given up hope....
for your self and our community.
Are there bad things in our world....yes

Are there good things in our world....yes
If you ONLY dwell on the bad......thats how your gonna feel...
B-A-D

When you say.....
Quote:

why do i pay someone to live in a house they dont occupy?
why dont they pay me?.....

just go have an abortion, abort yourself while your at it.
we dont need any more of you.

You come off as a whinny little bitch, and people will treat you like a whinny little bitch.
GET OVER YOURSELF

Do something to make your life better, rather than cry about how fucked up our society is.

Some of your statements are pure fiction.....
Quote:

in this world now, there is no place for new life to satisfy itself.
it must leech of what people have already.

I know that my daughter is happy, she has a job and her own house, and going to have a BABY in 6-7 months.
She doesn't have to leech of anyone, she does for herself.
