I'm sure the Pope has his good points, and I'm guessing you're guessing that I know less than I actually do know. (Say that three times fast.) I know about the Pope's biography, his roots, how he came to be the Pope.

But the fact of the matter is that he is the godhead of an institution that worsens so many problems around the world. His, HIS not the churches HIS views on condoms and birth control and the way he preaches them to his followers are leaving the poor masses of the third world STUCK in poverty. Catholic missionaries let them breed like rats and worsen their poverty, promoting this "culture of life" that just mires them in the muck they already live in.

What good did the pope do? He blessed the shit out of a bunch of stuff, said heaven and hell are just states of mind, and pooped himself.

He got to live in his own special country built on money from the very shady past of the catholic church, and helped spread lots of bullshit about contraception.

I'm never going to have billions of followers, or my own special country or tons of people to wipe my own ass, and making fun of him isn't doing no harm to nobody.

ya, i agree, one thing he really fucked up was to condemn condoms. that was stupid.

but his actions were totally done with good intentions. he preached respect to other religions, he preached peace and solidarity in the world. He played an important role in reuniting europe during and after the cold war. he gave hope when it was the most needed, he was a great spiritual leader.

and no, i'm not a catholic or a christian.

i just thing the guy deserves some respect.
