Please help ID health could be at risk!

So I work at a gas station and I've been noticing the water having a funny taste lately (from the soda fountain) well I had a problem with our coffee pot a couple nights ago where it wouldn't stop leaking hot water. So last ditch effort to rectify the situation I went into the back to turn the hot water supply off well the filtration system is back there. and this is what I see



Told management  their response was the filter is just doing its job. So i wanna know if this is safe or not (mold is never a good thing to have in your drinking supply I know) if anyone can tell me anything I'd love to know what I know so far its green lives submerged under water possibly adds a slightly barely noticeable pungent taste

when was the last time the filter was replaced,lime is commonly caught in filters. If the water is tasting funny I wouldn't fuck with it

Filters need to be changed as needed. If you can taste it, then its way over due. Thats fucking nasty. Take a sample and give it to the city inspector on the downlow if management is being negligent, they are feeding that shit to people through the soda fountain. I bet they're not drinking it themselves! Desipicible.

Strange. I wouldn’t think that any contaminant would be green without getting exposed to sunlight. Also, does that gas station have well water? I’d think that the chlorine in treated water would prevent any microbial growth. Either way, I wouldn’t drink it.
