Essential Oils are also a really amazing additional to a lifestyle focused on creating maximum vitality.

I never thought it was possible until I starting using them!

I have heard that they work on us, energetically, in much the same way that acupuncture does. A colleague of mine is actually taking notes right now on a study done on essential oils w/ Traditional Chinese Medicine. I cannot wait to receive the main document as well as her notes!!!

After incorporating them into my daily routine, I can say that I am happier and healthier than I've ever been. I haven't felt cravings for sweets or alcohol and I'm discovering all sorts of ways to detoxify my home by using them to clean my home, my skin, my body. It's been super empowering.

I have an essential oil book that acknowledges psychedelic drugs at the beginning (using them as an example of something that has a dramatic impact on consciousness as opposed to a subtle impact, like oils.)

The Fragrant Mind: Aromatherapy for Personality, Mind, Mood, and Emotion. Valerie Ann Worwood. 1996.

I can post a digital copy if you want.

From the pictures of you that I've seen you have a very low percent body fat. Unless you intend to go on a completely ketogenic diet and start coating all of your food in copious amounts of lard, you probably need a lot of carbs or else you are going to feel a mental fog and physical lethargy.

To stay healthy you NEED carbs, fats, and proteins (unless you intend to put your body into ketosis then only fats and proteins). A good ratio for a 2000 calorie diet is 40% carbs, 30% fats, 30% proteins. You should just try to avoid certain kinds of carbs as much as possible. Whole grains are great sources of carbohydrates, and some vegetables have them as well. If you suffer from chronic inflammation, white flour, dairy, and sucrose should be avoided. If you don't, there is really not a pressing reason to avoid them.

Solid advice.  My macros are 30-40-30(carbs/protein/fats)

Carbs are important.  Especially for the brain.  Like I mentioned earlier, yams, sweet potatoes and turnips are very health choices of carbs.

When I make spaghetti, I use a spaghetti squash instead of pasta.  It's yummu

Solid advice Tho

Moonshoe has low body fat.  I'm insanely jealous

The oils that have had the most profound effect on my day to day life so far are: lavender, frankincense, myrrh, peppermint, helichrysum, ylang ylang, sandalwood and a few propietary blends my company makes: Balance, On Guard (immunity blend), Console (comforting blend) and Breathe (respiratory blend).

I use them aromatically (diffused and inhaled directly off my palms), topically, and internally.

Lavender, Myrrh, Frankincense + Helichrysum have saved my skin. I have been getting pretty bad hormonal breakouts for a while and I made a  face oil with these and fractionated coconut oil and my skin has not been so clear in a really long time. It's also interesting to note here that usually when I quit drinking I break out REALLY bad, but this time I have not. After I moisturize with that oil blend I dab a bit of each on my problem areas. It's helping clear up some scarring on my cheeks and chin as well!

Lavender and Helichrysum are also really good for cuts, wounds, burns, bruises....

Breathe, Peppermint, Myrrh and Frankincense I have been using for respiratory support and relief from sinus pressure/pain. I inhale peppermint directly off my palms 3-4 times a day and apply Peppermint, Myrrh + Frankincense several times a day using my thumb to the roof of my mouth. I have also been putting one drop of Myrrh in my water bottle each day to help with my throat soreness from the post-nasal drip.

I diffuse On Guard almost every single day and take it internally 1-2 times per day in some apple cider vinegar mixed with water.

Also diffuse Breathe + Lavender almost every night to sleep.

I made custom blends for each chakra and a few times a week have been applying them directly too the corresponding area of my body while repeating prayer/mantras for each one.

I also cleaned my whole house using a cleaner concentrate from Dr Bronners mixed with On Guard and then a concoction I made myself of distilled white vinegar and a bunch of citrus oils. Switched to using dryer balls instead of dryer sheets too! You can scent them with whichever oil you wish

The diffuser noticeably makes the air in our house feel cleaner. Even my boyfriend agrees. I'm sleeping better which is giving more energy during the day and I don't have to use any of the allergy sprays or NSAIDS for my sinus congestion and pain anymore. Between the oils, changing my diet, and getting better sleep I feel like the symptoms of my chronic sinus issues are improving every single day.

Overall my anxiety and temper are more in check and I don't really feel any cravings for sweets like I normally do when I quit alcohol. (40 days w/o booze today!)

I know this may seem like a lot, but both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer at age 54, so I am very passionate about eliminating inflammation from my body and toxins from my home.....

Dreaming Earth Botannicals has done that too.

http://www.dreamingearth.com/catalog/pc/Chakra-Oils-c11.htm

But I actually disliked all the chakra blends of theirs I tried.

There's also a book on that topic.

Ayurveda & Aromatherapy: The Earth Essentials Guide to Ancient Wisdom and Modern Healing. Light Miller & Bryan Miller. 1995.

You can download that book as well as the previous one I mentioned on http://ebooks.wtf Note that registration is going to close on that site..

Thanks for sharing all that info yogabunny!

Since I got back from Antigua my health hasn't been as good, so I am currently taking the following to try to make it better:

1. Milk thistle 3x a day for my liver (to compensate for drinking, kratom, etc)
2. Apple Cider vinegar (to reduce body acidity)
3. Vitamin D (to alleviate depression and compensate for no sunlight where I live)
4. Turmeric (to reduce inflammation and prevent cancer and reduce aches and pains)
5. Probiotic pill (to build healthy gut biome)
6. Melatonin (to protect from harmful radiation and as potent antioxidant)
7. Vegan protein powder (to reduce meat consumption and help build muscle, contains hemp protein)
8. Hemp milk (to reduce dairy consumption and reduce cancer risk and mucous build up)
9. Hemp oil (for healthy fats, brain and heart health)
10. Coconut oil (for healthy fat, brain and heart health)
11. Epsom salts/magnesium bath salts (to reduce kratom tolerance and ease muscle aches and twitching)
12. Matcha (for antioxidants)
13. V8 Juice, superfood salad, superfood veggies (for smoothies to increase vegetable consumption)

Also found out my clavicle is dislocated a half inch. Went for a deep tissue massage today and the woman claims she popped it back in place. Really hoping that helps!

Also going to buy a good stationary vaporizer this week, to cut back on the ash I have been sucking using a pipe to smoke herb like a fool

Without health, there is no quality of life, so I really hope these things help!

If I could afford it, I would also wish to buy :

Raw Organic Cacao
Spirullina and Chlorella powder
Reishi mushroom tincture
Elk meat
Jiaogulan (chinese immortality herb, look this one up!)
Kombucha
Magnesium pills
Nootropic sampler pack (collection of racetams and a choline source)
B vitamin complex

I could also really use another ayahausca ceremony, but at 200 dollars a session I can't afford that right now.

Also cut my kratom use down to 50% of days instead of daily, I think that will be important for my health as well, once my system adjusts. Just finished a full 72 hour kratom break, which was harder then it should have been do to simultaneously being sick and injured.

From what I have

Has anyone had any supplements that really made a dramatic and noticeable difference in their wellbeing and vitality?

If so please share it here!

What has gone so wrong with your health? Do you just need to rest more? What supplements were you taking before you made all of these changes?

Also, you can easily drink Ayahuasca on your own for a few dollars.

Looks good man.

You're taking a lot of hemp, it has an omega3:omega6 ratio of 1:4.

I'd substitute shrimp half the time for the oil, with it's omega ratio of 1:1 and being a good to excellent source of 14 nutrients (including D)... and it's omega 3's are in the form of DHA and EPA which is important as the functionality of the in-vivo conversion from ALA is in question.

Remember to take some black pepper to empower turmeric absorption.

I dunno about melatonin, I would only take a tiny bit every third day an hour before bed.  I'm interested in tart cherry juice as a natural source.  You sight radiation protection here...  Get your Spirulina next, it is also great for this.

If you take Raw Cacao you won't need magnesium.

I dunno how good V8 is, but superfood salads and veggies are great.  Throw some spirulina on the tomatoes in your salad, extra virgin olive oil, top with sprouted sunflower seeds.  The spirulina makes for a delicious mess of a salad, goes great good in salsa or eggs.  Those are my favorite ways of using it.

Speaking of superfood, get the jiaogulan.  I loved the bag I got from Meridian, they unfurled beautifully in the french press, I re-used the leaves a couple times and then ate them... delicious and fortifying.

I would add Schizandra berries to the list.

Also, telomerase activator Astragalus root.  Chew the yellow, sliced root like chewing gum...  It's sweet.  Brewing astragalus root with some related herbs from TCM expelled a hardened black mass from my arm, I woke up with it on the bed next to me and still have a hole.  I think it may have been from a shot.

--------------------
Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order:
1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine
2)Amanita (urine drank twice)
3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose)
4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators)
5)Salvia (need to try quid)

All readable matter in the above post is ficticious... any similarities to real life are purely coincidental.

Blessing.

I have been taking melatonin every day to sleep for more than 5 years with only the occasional skip day. No long term studies have been done on such a behavior, but I am in amazingly good health.

well thats pretty silly logic

if we ran two parallel realities, one where you took no melatonin and the other where you took melatonin daily, then took a series of blood, health, and fitness tests, who would be healthier?

Thats a more proper question^. Noone is saying melatonin is gonna kill you. But maybe your lifting 6 times a week and somewhat clean diet counteracts the negative effects

If the Rock can be on juice for 20 years and still be fine, I think that a mild hormone like melatonin probably isn't going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Oh no doubt, many other meds are taken on a cycle and bridge.

Having a strong foundation of good sleep and a nutritious diet is very essential to any form of success. I always struggled to regulate a normal sleep pattern before melatonin, and I'm comfortable with the possible long term effects rather than being on more powerful narcotics or benzos. It has worked well for me.
