    #12930529 -

my dad yesterday told me he had some mushrooms in the garden. in his lettuce patch is a conocybe species! i was like wicked, thanks for showing me dad. its pretty dry here now so anything is exciting!
i am leaning towards conocybe tenera? or maybe conocybe auerea?

also in the grass where the hose always sits, it must condensate or something because there is always pan foes growing along it. and one lone conocbye alpa or lactea what ever were calling it. i noticed it last evening and saw its demise this morning.

ya its dry as hell here. i do water the lawn a bit just to see the foes and that lone conocybe has come up twice now. the first time i saw it i thought it was a psathyrella, because the stem was so shiny white and the gills at that point were white. not until i saw it withered up the next day did i see the gills turned rusty orange and i was like aahhh a conocybe.

some of the foes are getting a cool bell shapes now that is later in the summer it seems. wish they were those panelopsis ive been hearing about.
