i was working two jobs at the time (late night shifts at the pub and early morning shifts at the petrol station) i haven't had any sleep for about 36 hours (having worked the night/morning/night shifts) and was just coming home at 5 AM from the pub to make my self some food and change to my other work uniform for another shift at the petrol station... i was making some tea in a thurmus (SP?) and pour boiling water all over my hand! i had first degree burns and some scond degree burns too.... not to mention i used to be stoned most of the time back then which ment i was like a zombie usually!

those were the slowest 8 hours of my life! my hand hurt like hell and i could bearly find energy to move betwine the lanes for each and every car. it was no place to ask favours from the people you worked with!
i was totally on autopilot, amazed how my body handles all of that abuse and still goes on (it wasn't ME you see, it was my body. "I" was somewhere inside my head looking out from above)

One night I took a big dose of acid and and was trippin till 730 in the morning. I had to work at 10. Longest and worst day of work in my life. Just doing bullshit jobs like stocking shelves and mopping. Time could not go much slower and I was so mentally drained.

One day when I worked at a grocery store, a friend and I each had three bong hits on our lunch break. I was totally fried, which was bad enough but deal-withable; however my eyes were satanic red. Just pure blood, no pink, no white. I had no eyedrops, so I just made a beeline through the store to the staff bathroom and sat in a stall, paranoid as hell, until the end of my shift.

The problem was, I had no watch and I had to clock out after a certain time, so I just guessed, tore out of the bathroom and swiped out and jumped out the loading dock door and ran. Turns out I stayed 20 minutes longer than I had to. When I got to a safe distance I burst out laughing and couldn't stop for ten minutes.

Luckily I took a late lunch and it was only two hours that I had to sit there.

Oh man I completely forgot about that shit. I was half tempted to grab a bottle off the shelf and fix my eyes lol. You can't hide that. It's like Cotton-eye LOL

mine involves  partying  from friday mid day  till monday morning on 4 hours of sleep each of those days then going to work 

i come to work on monday after  eating shrooms 3 times  during that weekened  smoking  over a eight of weed and  drinking 2 bottles of  rum pretty much by myself 

my co-worker  looks  at me  and  goes  :laugh:ude you look green  are you ok ?

thank god i had some  weed to get through that day, and boss wasn't around

Being tweaked out is the worst. Especially when it gives you anxiety and you have to constantly deal with customers.

I've been both drunk and or hungover on the job, but nothing compares to the above.

I ate like 10 benadryls before going to work for the John Kerry campaign. I was fucked up, stumbling around neighborhoods with a clipboard, knocking on peoples doors and asking them to vote absentee. I'm glad I didn't have to drive anywhere that day.

Where to start.

hmm working 10+ hours outside in single diggits during a blizzard was fun.

Using power tools in standing water carrying 1500 pound slabs of granite and marble was a great job too.

Standing ontop of a ladder, that was positioned on a skid stear with its bucket fully extended up working at about 30 feet trying to get skin a house, while it was early december, windy and snow was moving in.

yeah i am sure i am forgeting a couple.
