Stepping up in
    #29695580 -

Hello, my name's karl im a 35 year old new psychedelic explorer.  For my first sjroom experience I tried "bluey vuitton " capsules and dosed 1 gram my first trip. Was a powerful come up with mild anxiety and a very cold shivering feeling.  Ive had a few good trips on it since and yesterday I took 2 grams (1 gram at once on an empty stomach sans a couple busch lights) and the rest spread out over several hours. For the sake of efficiency,  I want to get the "albino penis envy" caps but am worried . Is it worth a try? Any input?

welcome!

once you start to trip you immediately gain a tolerance, the extra gram spread out over a couple of hours wouldn't have been as effective as if you had taken them both at the same time or even about 30 minutes after your first dose.

albino penis envy is generally pretty damn strong, up to you if you want to take the plunge with it. going with it for the sake of "efficiency" might not pan out exactly as you'd imagine. these things have a mind of their own. :supershroom:

I agree with everything Belome said.

Personally, I have some PE and I also have regular cubes.

Like if I want to do around a gram I will use my PE because if I get a little bit higher it doesn't matter. But if I want to do 3.5g I'll use regular cubes because I do not want to go higher than intended.

I appreciate your responses and the warm welcome. Im wanting a good experience, but I definitely dont want to freak out as im unsure about how id react to extreme anxiety combined with sensory mixing.  Supposedly bluey vuitton has 17 MG/gram of tryptamines, but everything I've read has suggested extreme caution to APE. I might just play with bluey for now.

if you're enjoying bluey vuitton, thats totally fine to keep exploring with that. nobody's keeping score, this is your journey.

if you haven't been taking more than 1g at a time, other than that time you took 1 + 1 spread out over several hours, try 2g at once and see how you handle that. if that goes well, increment up. im not sure how your capsules are divided, but if 2g gives you good results, you could try taking it up to 2.5g. who knows, you might find it less anxious once you have a trip that you really give in to. i stayed at 2.5g for several years and only lately have been dipping my toes in the deeper end. i still have not attempted APEs, but i have tried normal penis envy and honestly found them to be a bit "unkind"

how long are you waiting between each trip? 2 or 3 weeks for a tolerance & mentality reset is generally advisable

ok that's definitely a bit too frequent. tolerance isn't the only element, it can be punishing for your serotonin receptors and weigh negatively on your mood. even at those low doses i wouldn't attempt any more frequently than 1 week apart.

its not like smoking a joint. these little guys demand respect.

Howdy guys, I'm new here. Used to be a frequent flyer back in the late 90's early oughts but now I'm in a weird predicament. I want to go back for healing purposes, but I'm afraid to. It sucks. I don't have any underlying condition stopping me or even bad trip memories. Just some weird anxiety. I know whatever happens it'll be ok. Thanks for listening to my rant

So I've heard,  belome.  Ive read reports where people took 2 grams one day and took 3 the next and felt nothing. I didnt touch them all week, but on a Friday night lonely with nothing to do ot was motivating.  I should also note that I have mental illness and am always trying to run from reality

Practice tripping without taking the substance. :strokebeard:

I know it sounds silly.  But if you can do so several times a week for a few hours each time. You might be surprised how well you can handle yourself during an experience with altered perceptions, hallucinations, and so on.

Think of it like basic meditation on what the body senses altogether as many things about itself and its surroundings but unitively.

e.g. 3 x a week, 2 hours before bedtime. Just stillness & flowingness, observing with equanimity, tranquility, and yet also with a perk of energy about you as well.  That's all.

Such a measure may not mesh well for you but you can never know until you try (do/be...it) .  Anyways.  At any rate, you'll be dreaming in the meantime. So you can even use the wind up until you do as the substitue for the 'trip' you want to take by ingesting mush/lsd or whatnot.

Just a suggestion.

for sure, i wont judge you for your reasons. i'd strongly encourage taking a couple weeks off to let yourself reset and then try 2 or 2.5g all at once on a friday night.

rant received!

nobody's gonna make you do it. but i will say...

until one beautiful night in 2022, the last time i tripped was a handful of highly anxious experiences in 2006. all i took was one larger golden teacher, cap and stem, i'm guessing it wouldnt have been more than 1.5g, and holy cow did that erase any of the apprehension about tripping that i had held onto for so many years.

With any new shipment you get, whether PE or other strain, you should start with 1 gm and next time you try it you will know if it is super strong or not.

it could take up to 3 hours to show its full worth.

PE is generally good, but nothing to be scared of even albino penis envy is just a good kind of cubensis, and not to be all afraid of. Then again I seldom go beyond 2.5 grams of any mushrooms.

Liberty caps on the other hand are supposedly very surprisingly strong.
