Upstate NY Tard Mushroom - ID Pls!

Habitat:
Found in Upstate NY, north of Utica on 06/23/10. Both of these mushrooms were found alone in the middle of my yard. Definitely not out of anything rotting. It could have been just the dirt of they might have been coming out of the roots of some of the trees that were not far by.

Gills:
Both have gills attached and are white

I believe #1 is some kind of aminita, but not sure about which. If you can see in the picture the gills under #1 are white, and the cap membrane is just starting to peel open to reveal them.

No idea about #2. I can take spore prints if necessary for the ID, but if they are thought to be either not edible or not recreational then I'll just let them sit in the ground.

#2  is Xerula furfuracea or something close.

1 looks like Amanita rubescens.

I see reddish stains on the cap...Amanita amerirubescens sounds good.

Yep, that's probably what it is, var. alba. It has patches not scales.
