Limericks are fun
    #7325154 -

There once was a druggist named Dan
Who was a very vein-punctured man
And with a deadly syringe,
After a heroin binge
His brain would devolve into flan

There once was a lady named Charlotte
Described by most men as a harlot
Her body feline
And breasts so divine
Made most adolescents turn scarlet

There once was a topic headed Limerick
Devoted to nothing but word trick
Should a serious post
Ever enter the roast
It was shamed for its lack of a good shtick

There once was a shroomerite named Muppet
Who bagan as a shit stirring puppet
The original account got lost
And he paid the cost
But in then end - he decided: "ah...fuckit"

-10 pts for false rhyme
-30 pts for too many syllables in lines 1, 3 and 5
-5 pts for spelling mistakes

In fact someone should just take all your points away.

allright...first and foremost:
'false rhyme' isa very common thing in limericks
(and is perfectly acceptable in most cases)

2)
there's no set number of sylables that limericks are *supposed to* have
(it all comes down to proper structure, and corresponding sylable placement)

and finally...D)
'word tweaks' are also something limericks are infamous for
(I can dig up a dozen samples right now of famous limericks that do exactly that)

don't try an act all 'high an mighty' ona subject you know nothing about

nevermind...I just noticed that you were right about me fucking up on 'began' up there
(I thought you were getting stupid about making 'fuck it' one word)

so nah - I'll give you that one

yer still a jackass for whining about the others though

I know that, but I'd like to hear someone get past the "The original account got lost" line smoothly.

False rhyme is weak and you know it. It's as big a throwaway as Godfather III.:crankey:  Muppet does not rhyme with fuckit, as much as you want it to, sorry.

I happen to have a Masters in Limerickology.  I studied under some of the world's leading drunken Irish assholes.

yeah...I'll admit that that one was a sloppy line that was only 'acceptable' because the following line was cut short - the idea being that the two lines together would still roughly equate out to be what 'sounds right' (the timing would just be a little odd)

and 'muppit' is still close enough to 'fuckit' to get the job done
(especially considering some of the other 'word twists' I've heard from much more famous poems)

besides - it's not like anything major's going on with all of this anyways

might I remind you this is just a coupla random people fucking around ona message forum

When a lady named Gert
Came and lifted her shirt
It rose with a thump to his chin

the mupman called WiskeyClone out
who ignored him without a doubt
there was no big fight
just a quiet night
it's sad that he took the bitch route  :nonono:

A quite cheerful girl, that was Mandy
Who considered the rainy days dandy
But then came a bolt
Of thunder revolt
And shocked that bitch right to the dandy

upon a once there was shroomery
it was full of fun and tom foolery
but alas as all forums,
are fools struck with boredom
and thus comes certain doomery

WhiskeyClone went to bed early,
His drunken head spinning and whirly.
Muppet rejoiced
For no beef was voiced;
Grinning with no whites-a-pearly.

There once was a website so cool
You could always act like a fool
You might get called out
but without a doubt
they're being funny, not cruel

It's early.

I once loved a man by chance
who couldn't keep his dick in his pants
So tables were turned
a lesson was learned
now no one else touches his lance!

I'm warming up now.

There once was a girl named Mary
Who's pussy was just too hairy
she tried razors and cremes
then went to extremes
now of bushwhackers she's become wary!
