How? Evolution would select for the gentle man who protects and nurtures his mate through pregnancy and helps care for his offspring, not the violent monster who kills them in a flash of rage while they are still infants. Mammals as a K-selected clade are highly specialized for ongoing nurturance of offspring until they are mature. Shins' cartoonish notion of " hyper masculinity" being defined by violence would amount to evolutionary suicide for a species of this clade unless survival were essentially guaranteed, which had not been the case for frail, weak, naked-skinned humans until modern times.

I mean do you even realize how much physically weaker early modern man is than his direct ancestors among the primates? He was not selected for brutality.

Honestly, fantasies mean nothing. I fantasize constantly about shit that would not turn me on IRL, or stuff that I have actively disliked when I tried it, but I still fantasize about it.

Other people do this too. Like some people will fantasize about anal or fisting, but will have absolutely no desire or even be grossed out at the thought of trying it in person. Or they will try it, and end up not liking it that much.

I'll give you 2 different examples, one thing I used to fantasize about all the time was having sex with a total fuckboy. Don't ask me why, I have no idea where this fantasy came from. But when I would fuck actual fuckboys, I would always be like "Man this isn't even hot at all." For some reason I would still have the same fantasies though.

Or another thing I always fantasize about, is getting gangbanged or having 3somes. But I know IRL if I were to try this, there is no way I could even have an orgasm... because I have such bad performance anxiety, in group situations. Plus I would be so sucked in to what's going on around me, that it would probably end up being more like work than pleasure. So, sometimes fantasies are just left better in your head, and really say nothing profound about what would turn you on the most IRL.

It's funny because IRL fuck boys do not turn me on whatsoever. In fact, I generally disrespect them or distance myself from them when I meet one of them, as they tend to not be very inclined intellectually. But for some reason I am CONSTANTLY fantasizing about them sexually.

It's the strangest thing and I can't figure out why. Especially since I also recognize that there's no way I would actually be able to orgasm if I were to play out the fuckboy fantasies that I have in my head IRL.
