Welcome to the medical industry. The hospital gave me an injection against my will that I was allergic to. I had to go back after almost dying and they shot me up with benedryl and my bill was $4000 for about 2 hours worth of their time.

FL is a no fault state, so of course I couldn't sue unless im dead.  :minigun:

I can't even imagine beginning to pay such a ridiculous bill off. :shake:

I have health insurance in Germany. I guess if something like that happened to me, I'd just fly over there and get treated. Fuck paying such an insane amount for healing.

You're surprised? The medical system in this country is completely broken. Prices are higher than they've ever been and continuing to climb. A single dose of aspirin will run you about $25 at the hospital. Now imagine you have a serious health problem.

Whenever people bitch about medical reforms without an awareness of what they're actually trying to fix, I just :facepalm:. It's not like some Democrats just suddenly decided the country should be a communist waiting-room utopia.
