Toronto Non-profit Religious/Shamanistic Community?

Has anyone ever thought about setting up a temple or Community that is non-profit in which you use entheogens to grow as a community in what ever town you are in, i wish i could start on in toronto/.

similar to ritualistic ceremonies from ancient times with the aztecs, mayians, and egyptains.

it can be set up as islam, hindu/ christian/jewish, and all the others, and we could share our believes and try to create a state of consciousness in which we are all happy and can experience without much harmful disagreement and no where going arguments.

perhaps if we set up these for all religions we could get more power as a society and use entheogens to enhance the religious experience with shared techniques from ALL god loving religions, even secular genome dna as the soul believers, it doesnt matter this is all just language and we are nitpicking at different words that mean the exact same thing.

that is to this; as this is to that.

if we have range in knowlegde and understand everyones language of description of the universe we can have a MUCH better understanding of our brothers and sister of GOD.

we should start one world religion temples that are non-profit and focus on understanding and practicing the religious rituals of all our different diverse cultures.

this would be an awesome dream of mine.

i wonder if anyone is on this idea as well.

i live in toronto so having something similar to the temple of true inner light in new york would be incredible.

i wonder if my area has something like this. :smile:

I don't think it would work. Would prolly attract a lot of :hippie: and every one knows hippies are the most selfish lazy people on the planet. Whats more selfish than smoking pot and listening to music all day long? Nothing would get done!!!

I dont think the people that the church i go to are hippies, they are very well composed individuals.

i doesnt matter what your culture is.

hippie is a culture and we should not descriminate.

id like an environment where you can be composed and not composed as long as it does not hurt anyone.

of course you would have to take in account for everyones comfort level at the specific moment and only show your true colours if they are ready to see it.

They are covered by local laws that make the use of SPECIFIC drugs like DMT or mescaline legal within the confines of their building.

you have to prove some kind of cultural connection or legitimate sincerity in order to get the license though, you can't just put a sign on your front door that says "all drug use here is for religious purposes only.  all are welcome!"

But for real at some point there has to be someone providing. I don't really believe in "non-profit" just because an organization is "non-profit" doesn't mean their isn't money being spent/made.  If everyone is just living together in a community tripping all the time who pays for the electricity, water, food, health care, Internet?, education, etc. etc. etc.

but i have faith in my abilities.

im sure i can make money legitimately and set this up.

it would be an extreme burden but it would be worth while in the long run in my point of view.

I'd worry about getting a license first.


getting the building and the $ is trivial compared to dealing with the law on legal drug use.

Ibogaine is another that comes to mind. Mescaline itself is illegal but there's an exception for the Lophophora genus.

if i do no harm can they realistically shut me down.? if its not for profit and everyone consents. if i tell them i am aware of how the system work? and that its corrupt from double negative logic.

so their language is different from your language and if you dont understnad their language and your languages doesnt line up to their courts then it fucks you over.

our government was intended to be set up to keep our rights in check, but they mix up the rules and played on our ignorance of not understnading how the system works and how a few changes in language and meaning can screw you over big time.

I don't know what that is, but they don't care about corruption and logic in the legal system they care about what the law says and what the law says to do to people who violate the law.


You're treading on dangerous ground here.  If you do it right you should be fine but if you overstep your limit or do something you arent supposed to, you will be shut down and possibly jailed.
