Going to get the HTC Droid DNA

Looks like a solid phone and top of the line to upgrade to if you're on verizon.

I had the Droid 2 Global and was a great phone. Wish they'd release a Droid 5, I want a physical keyboard soo bad.
But that isn't going to happen in the time, but you can't complain about 1080p screen, android 4.1, quad-core processor, 2 gigs of RAM, and 4LTE technology.

I mainly use my phone for calling, texting, email, google search, and a GPS

Do any of yal currently have it or are in the market as I am?

I'm on my second replacement razr maxx. First one got a pink line on the screen about a day after I got it. Second replacement now keeps flashing in and out of hdmi mode when I plug in the charger (wtf?), has crashed several times and just does weird shit sometimes, like screen went into a lit black and wouldn't respond ended up having to factory reset it, also have had weird black splotches on the screen so shes going back while still under warranty. Needless to say I'm not happy with it. Only had it like few months now. Very slow to boot and surf aswell.

Damn sorry to hear that, sounds like you got an extremely faulty device, if you are on verizon and complain to no end they will credit your account and give you freebies :shrug:

Prob should I almost got screwd over at work cuz of it. An extremely faulty device would be the first one. Now I starting to think its a extremely shitty design. Should have learned from the fist fucking razr they made like a toothpick so when you sat down it would snap :mad2: I used to have the droid 2 (idk the one with slide keybord) it was prob my favorite phone. the keyboard made it. I fucking hate touch screen keys I havent found a decent one yet:shrug:.

No. Specifically AT&T and Verizon allow all their telecommunications, both internet and phone communications, to be filtered through the NSA.

They are watching and listening.

I have the one s. A lot of people don't like the droid ui and I can see why. Modded phones are so much better.

I'd have to handle it.  Personally, I'm not fond of the trend towards super enormous phones.  A 5" screen sounds like it would be a bit much for me.

i got a galaxy android appeal (is that a model?)

slideout keyboard, internet, music player, decent camera/camcorder


for $150 new. i also uploaded some technical manuals to it.

specs look nice. It should perform well but I wouldn't buy it til you have handled it. Those samsung notes looked cool until you held one up to your ear.

Mistaken about what?  It sells off contract for $300 and it has top of the line specs, and is direct from Google so you get updates the day they come out, along with massive developer support.

Thought it cost the regular 199$ with contract, that's why I said that. But still going for the DNA since I have Verizon and huge hands so the 5" screen is going to be a plus

I wouldn't bet the farm on that.  I had the "pure google" Nexus S, and waited months for ice cream sandwich to be pushed to it.
