yea i also remember it was unusual around others. i remember once someone asked me if i had a lighter for their cig, and since i carry one anyway i let him use mine and im not sure if it was even noticed. and when inside i would be discrete because i didnt want to attract attention and deal with explaining that it was alright. but idk it seems like it could be even more unhealthy depending on how its built or made of...

I have a general feeling that "professors" and the FDA make negative claims on E-cigs because they are not getting the tax money and BigT is losing money because of E-cigs. Although Ejuice is derived from natural tobacco, it hasn't been passed to be taxed. Although they are certainly trying. Tobacco is harmful, Ecigs are potentially harmful. Not to smoke anything is the best way to avoid all your problems... But be careful when your stuck in traffic and breathing all that exhaust from vehicles.

i mean the actual device, i think depending on heating element and the fibrous material that holds the liquid can make a difference of now healthy it is. i have an e-cig i bought for cheap that seemed really nice but it seems to last unnaturally long and the vapor got pretty harsh and i have the feeling that i was no longer inhaling the juice vapor but something else. :shrug:

They do taste funny when you start to run out of liquid. plus when full with liquid they do not get as hot as they do when less liquid is present

The wicks are "un scorchable" in my unit anyways, and they should be cleaned periodically. They do get a little build up of ash and burnt soulutions. typically with the darker e juices. To clean just rinse with water and "dry burn" ... good as new.

Not saying they are the healthiest thing, but they are cleaner than burning all those 4000 chemicals in analogs through cotton and fiberglass filters. At the end of the day they are just as expensive if not less than actual tobacco.

The concern I have is inhaling the water vapor, and putting liquid in your lungs. If you take a drag on a regular cig and exhale through a paper towel it leaves a nasty skid mark, with the Ecig its just a clear wet spot.

I have been on my Ecig for 90 days, I dont cough at all any more and Im not coughing up chunks like I was with regular cigs. I can also breathe deeper and fuller and I feel better overall

If I die from E-cig, oh well, I was gonna die from regs any ways :shrug:

whats a good refillable? right now i just use disposable cartridges that i refill. seemed like the cheapest option. but i still buy cigs so i figure if i can get a good device then i will end up saving money even if it is a little more pricey :shrug: right now i use smokless cigarettes brand and an SD brand i got for cheap (the one that still puts off vapor when its empty)

Personally, I would recommend a volcano inferno. Thats what I use, with the mega clearomizer... but any "ego" style e cig will suffice, most are pretty much the same these days.

The General Consensus for the first time Kit buyer, over at eCig Forums, would be some form of Joyetech eGo... But don't let that stop you from buying what you want.

Essentially you should do a few days worth of research to come to your own conclusion.

Do you mind using something that doesn't look like a Cigarette at all?  Would you be trying to replace smoking cigarettes with an eCig?  If so then you might want to look into a MINI or something that looks just like a Cigarette, but has another color, besides red or orange, for the LED at the tip.  This way you will get less hassle from people who watch out for smokers smoking in the no smoking zone.

I got the eGo-T delivered today and it is bitchen.  Going to buy some mods from PrettyMushy since he can hook shit up.

I am a devoted e-cig convert.

July 11 was THREE YEARS!!  :smile:  I would never have thought that was possible.  I swear I was born smoking. 

Anyway...

I've tried a lot of mods, bigger units, and I always come back to the G6 (small cigarette-sized ecig), using refillable cartomizers with ONLY Halo ecig liquid in it.  Preferably Tribeca or Prime 15.  THE best there is.  It's a little pricier than other juices but oh, so very worth it.

E-cigs are not going to be an exact duplicate of your cigarette.  Just think of it as switching brands.  However, once you're on them for a while and try a regular cig, you will be shocked at how bad they taste. I waffled a lot at first but now can't even bring myself to try a real cigarette. 

It's very liberating to be able to "smoke" whenever I feel like it.  Which turns out to be quite often.  :smile:

My breathing, endurance, skin and just everything have improved vastly.

I second the motion above to join the e-cigarette-forum...you just cannot find better advice (unless it's on the Shroomery).

Do NOT buy a cheap gas station cig; you'll most likely be discarding it very quickly and giving good e-cigs a bad name.

I know people say the gas station ones are cheap, but the Njoy has always worked for me. they are $20 at 7-11 and a good place to start to see if you like them.

I am a devoted e cig User. After twenty one years of pack-a-day smoking.  I prefer the Blu brand. But Walmart has a brand called Mistic that are really good too.  I use both.

i ended up buying an eGo twist battery with a COV air flow mod attachment which has a tank and atomizer. its kick ass i will never go back to using disposable cartomizers, plus it was only 50 bucks which about what i paid for the disposable smokeless cigarette brand (which sucked)  the tank lasts for days and the battery lasts even longer. :thumbup: the blu's are cool but i think its way better to be able to buy the liquid and how ever many flavors you want for much cheaper than the disposable cartomizers.
