what is necessary and what are wants these days?

i have a computer that will last me another 5 years and is designed to have no physical problems.. ever. i have the worlds toughest watch, a big computer monitor, the best and most long lasting mp3 player there is, an awesome bike, the musical instruments ive always wanted, clothes i love, a super durable and partly waterproof bag that has been i've carried through thick and thin, there's nothing else i want to spend my money on.

there are no video games i'm dying for, no movies im excited for to come out, no hardware or software, no apps. the only thing i know i'll be spending a few bucks on is a nice winter jacket.

what are you spending your money on these days?

all of these are free

and even the big business selling these items is turning in the direction that selling devices that will be opensource compatible is more profitable

so chill and enjoy the flow

as for spending money, you could invest it into some big project or drift through life

thats your personal choice,
spending money to impress strangers for no reason or goal, is probably the worst thing to do with ones life

Stop actively looking for shit to buy that you clearly don't need.

Once you own everything you want save your money for retirement or stockpile guns, ammo and non-perishable foods.

retirement.

I'm going to be done at 65.  I'll need a lot to live my current lifestyle another 20 years.

In addition, I invest in fixing up my house.  Labor is expensive as hell.

don't spend money on material things, spend money on good times. shows, snowboard/skiing trips, hookers, drugs. shit i just heard today you can hire midgets for partys that are specialized. they've got alcohol resistant midgets, midgets that are built to endure pain, plus you can never go wrong with midget strippers boxing :thumbup:. use your imagination man

Spend money on experiences. Not lame ones that you can get for free either (ie; sex, drugs, rock n roll)

Go backpacking across Europe and Asia
Go to Vegas
Toast the sunrise in Tokyo
Go boating through the Amazon
Fly over Antarctica
Smoke hash in a tent in Morocco
Climb Mt. Everest
Take a train across Siberia

Make yourself rich with experiences, because that will be all you have in the end.
