I can't chose install. Only play...
    #12958818 -

Back when I still had Vista Civ4(LEGIT COPY) worked fine on my PC. I then added all the expansions(Non-Legit) Now I'm running Win7. Totally new drive. Nothing from my last installation remains. So I went to install my legit copy of Civ4, and the expansions.......But it crashed/froze part way through my legit copy. So I tried again(my disk is a little scratched) and now every fucking time I put it in(or mount the non-legit copy that comes with the expansions) I get the same error,........I can't chose install. Only play............

But what little was on the computer was deleted. I should have done it properly but CCleaner wasn't picking it up, though I could have used the Win7 Add/Remove. I guess I was being stupid. So now I have a couple of deleter programs. To try and clear what hidden. "Disk Redactor" seems cool, but it refuses to clean C:Drive or "Program files"

And there are so many programs, many of which aren't free. So I thought it would best to ask here. What's worse is I tried to install so many new games now that I have all this space...sadly none of them worked and now I just want to play Civ4. Plus I want to clear Setters 7 broken installation.......that's hanging around as well.\

THANK=YOU-4-ANY-HELP!!!

Try directly launching setup.exe from the CD instead of going through the autorun menu.

i dont know if this is still around in windows but in XP there was an option when you right click the installer to "run in compatibility mode" or something like that.

to this day i still have no idea what that does but i remember it got a few older games to run for me. :shrug:
