wish i still had the balls to wear tie-dye around here. got tons of shit from my friends which didn't bother me all that much, but cops constantly pulling me over because of profiling did. i mean cmon, i 'drive' a freakin' mountain bike and get pulled over a fair amount if i don't at least tie my hair back and make a little effort to look normal. always with some story of how someone fitting my description just committed a robbery or what have you. i live in a pretty small town and let me assure you there's no one around here that looks anything like me (maybe the odd tourist)
:feelsbadman:

how long does it generally take to tie-dye a shirt? i'd really like a tie-dye button down shirt or two ;o
and that bedsheet is :awesome: makes me wanna do one of those too

Cops in my home town area profile generally based on 1) Is the perp black? 2) Is the perp driving a shitty vehicle? 3)Does the shitty car have window tints?

However, my college town profiles you if you're not wearing a tie-dye shirt.

It takes like an hour to dye a couple shirts. Then you let them sit for 24-48 hours, then open them up, let them dry out, then rinse with water, then put in a normal clothes washer.

In total, from start to finish it takes about 30-50 hours from start to finish. But it really only takes about an hour of 'labor'.

If you tie-dye anything, make sure it's cotton and wear it about ten times so the threads get loosened up in order to get the stains to hold better.

Start a trend. Wear tie-dye. And if anyone says you're stupid have poor taste in clothing, reply with:

"I'm starting a revolution, you can either wear tie-dye with me, or you can continue your life of sobriety and wear your colorless UK clothing. Fuck you Chairman Mao, but I am wearing color."
