What are her hopes regarding ayahuasca? I mean, does she hope that it will turn into a cancer cure for her?

A true shaman (Someone who has spent 50+ years learing from their ancestors on the ways of the aya) would have a greater chance of causing a successful healing than taking yourself or from an inexperienced person.  A true healer would include other healing plants from the jungle according to individual's needs for healing.

That said, ayahuasca could still have a healing effect, and if it doesn't do anything to the cancer will help ease her last moments.

I would also look up Rick Simposon.  If you can contact him he can get you for free a supply of THC oil for curing her cancer.  He has cured cancer doctors said were going to be fatal in months.  If she moves to canada CONTACT RICK SIMPOSON IMMEDIATELY.

Taking his daily cannabis medicine will greatly increase chances of survival, and along with aya could be very helpful.

I repeat again, google rick simpson ASAP and contact him to see if you can get some medicine.  He lives in Amsterdam now since the Canadian government keeps fucking with him, but If you contact him he could lead you to where to acquired the hemp medicine.

Ayahuasca makes powerful changes in the body, and has cured cancer in the past, but THC/CBD are very powerful anti-cancer agents are are essential to a real cure.

I agree, go the jungle.

I think the entire paradigm change forced by spending time in the jungle with a healer and developing and redefining the relationship with the healer/plants/self is of the utmost importance. Ayahuasca can open an unconscious dialog between the 3 parties involved which opens the pathways to healing...

It is hard to say, but i do not think ayahuasca itself is the healer, but the catalyst to self healing. It is not a 1 shot deal, IMO.

That said, there are plenty of people who head to the jungle with terminal illnesses looking for a second chance - in some it treats the illness and in others it can help immensely with acceptance during the dying process.

If i was in this situation - even if i never had the money, i would find the way to get to the jungle.

It is called medicine for a different reason. The Aya ceremony may help one get right with dying, but I doubt it will effect a cure. I would fore go the Aya and try ecstasy. Then get the treatment and supplement it with healthy living.

nono dont do that,thats like saying someone with a headache should forgo the aspirin and go straight for the hammer. pursue the aya, itll change her life regardless.
