Bud - PLEASE HELP!

I just bought a half of some super dank bud. For some reason the idiot that i bought it from sprayed it heavily with old spice body spray (WTF???). Anyway he won't let me sell it back so i have no choice but to keep it. Do you have any way of getting ride of the smell and more importantly the terrible taste of cologne that gets into your mouth when you smoke it? PLEASE HELP!!!

you could always try to water cure it. That sucks, did you pay him before you got it and he brought it to you or what? How the hell did you end up with a bag of weed soaked in old spice?

you got it right on man, i paid him for it, he came back and just tossed it in the car and dipped. The worst thing is that they are obviously really nice buds and idk why someone would ruin them like that. So what did you say i should do?

do a search either on here or on google for water curing cannabis.  It's a method in which you soak and redry your buds.  It can help remove left in nutrients from an unflushed grow and some claim it smooths the smoke etc etc.  I've never done it, but it has been done before :wink:

I hear what your saying and usually i would but its a really complicated situation and i just have to make do with the dank. Its really good so i wanna save it somehow so if someones got a suggestion that would be greatly appreciated.

ps. I have water cured some danky bud from outdoors (well i didnt do it, my idiot friend did with some of my blueberry grow ) to make a long story short, rather than smoking the water cured bud, we tossed it out the window.


edit: in your case, i think water curing it is probablly your only option to make it semi smokable. This would be an application of the common saying 'the solution to pollution is dilution'

i doubt water curing it will help, since body spray has a high chance of containing toxic material that might cause adverse reactions if you are sensitive to the ingredient. so I suggest wheter or not you find the bud good enough to take the risk to expose yourself to that potensial risk. Of course, the toxic materials may be destroyed when burned and whatnot, if it was me i would think, ey its just plant material, there will always grow some more and toss the damn thing and concideret it a lesson.

not everybody has that option
ive had to buy plenty of drugs without seeing them, sometimes they are good, sometimes not, but i dont always have the luxury of looking at em and inspecting em n shit

Toxic materials don't usually get destroyed by heat, you're thinking of bacteria and other germs. I'd try the water cure deal and just take a teeny tiny little bit at first.

that asshole sprayed your weed probably because at one time or another he had to hide the smell of that weed from someone, meaning, his karmas running out and he'll get his soon. i wouldnt smoke that shit unless you like the feeling of huffing spray paint. take the loss, i bet you'll get some fresh dank bud soon.

yeah, i'd just give it away to someone who doesn't mind or throw it out. there's no way you're going to get that shit smell out. i agree that karma will favor you unless you had it comin' already. only buy from people you knew grew it and trust or you're taking chances. nobody gives a shit about anybody else these days. could have been he is just an idiot that thinks people like to smell perfume and didn't mean to stink it up. he could have just spritzed himself and then went to pinch your bag and got it all over the inside of the bag. if i just walk by someone wearing that shit, i have to change my clothes and wash my hair otherwise i'll get migraines. i'm even considering shaving my head routinely to keep from picking up peoples perfumes. perfume should be illegal, not herb. better luck next time. what state or country are you in?
