Trying to understand this poo, shit

Originally my idea was to spawn WBS to straw.
Now i see h poo kicks ass. so the plan is to use a 90 percent straw / 10 percent h poo mix.
Now what i'm not sure about is if i can use poo from a horse stable. The particular place i can get it from has a big ass pile with wood chips (of course i'll take out some of those). The poo is semi dry / semi wet on top and wet on bottem in the big pile. I understand leeching will get rid of the marjority of ammonia and piss. Good. but what i'm understanding is people are recommended to dry it out in the sun or inside if it's wet, then leech? Why?
depending on the answer i don' see why i can't just take wet horse poo from this place leech the shit out of it, make it the right water consistancy, and then pausturize in a oven back on the stove?

I dont like straw, but I have never used it,
I fill up a container of some choice hpoo, from a local stable, for free
Get it home a lay it out thinly on a tarp,

Let it dry out, then gather the nuggets,

Whats left I use for an outdoor patch of for the lawn,

I use a Rubbermaid to store it,

Once it is truly dried out and aged, I have not needed to leach it,
From there you have several choices on how you use it,

Straw and horse shit make a great substrate, but I prefer a mix of 80% crap to 20% straw.

OK well since doing the sun bake / drying thing actually takes the place of leeching i'd be inclinded to do that rather leeching and trying to drain it trying to find the perfect moisture level.
But, anyone know the time line on how long it takes to PROPERLY dry the poo? i mean to the point where u don't even need to leech it.
thanks

takes quite a while to age poo... i mean, aged poo looks like dirt, and fresh poo looks like... well... poo. when your poo doesnt smell anymore and looks like dirt, i'd say it's aged enough to be hydrated

Yeah I dont know the time but it does take a while,
Try to start with it as dry and old as you can,
Remember dry and aged, thought I dont know the time table.

Thats the funniest topic title I have ever heard. I actually laughed out loud, violently for about 1 second.
I wish I knew more about that poo shit though.
I just had to comment on the title.
