Exactly... but its taking full swing now...

Hell the Pixie's surfer rosa album went gold last year... and the ramones and a bunch of cali 80's punk bands are even getting in the limelight again (The vandals, social D, cramps)

They never went away really.

The 80's were the worst years of music in existance.

The only good things that came from the 80's were Van Halen, Queen, and Metallica...and probably a few other bands. But not many at all. :rolleyes:

Talking Heads started out in '77 but their best work was definitely in the 80's...they're my favorite band that made any music in the 80's.

Plus, Bowie had Scary Monsters. :rockon:

blah they're on at the same time? I just saw DM a few months ago, and they were good (even though I"m not really into them they're awesome live). But no way in hell am I missing daft punk, they haven't toured in the US for like, 10 years?

I just hope madonna closes after Oakenfold on sunday so I can leave early hah.
