I figured they made a spiral but then stretched it out like a cone maybe and start kenney style along the pleats. Idk. Or yeah they tied the spiral tight across sides and tops.

Is that an upcycled agar punch?! You can get serious tension with handles like that!

I had a similar thought about the cone spiral Kenney, but that seems outrageous lol.

I noticed there are tension lines along the edge of the spiral arms. That means when your shirt is formed into a spiral and it resembles a circle, these lines are your diameter lines.

I think they started with these ties, probably tightening each one a little at a time, then pulling tight once everything is mostly in place.

In my head, this turns the circle into a daisy shape, where each petal of the flower is one arm of the spiral.

I think if you tied sinew across those petals, like you would doing a bullseye or a mandala, then you'll get the orb shapes that run the length of the spiral arm.

Yeah i had a cannabis dab oil tool maker make me an agar punch. The metal was a little to thick and didn't cool down fast enough so it wasn't best agar punch. Perfect for sinew pulling tho.
I have learned to make my own agar punches. 2 types.

So i ordered a couple hoodies. Well, I didnt mean to order 50/50 blend. But I did and can't cancel my order, only return it once it arrives.
So should I return them or still try to ice dye them?

I love a blend.

The dye runs a little different. It "stretches" further. I think because it doesn't soak into the synthetic fabric but rather glides over it.

However, some synthetic material can be tricky to pleat/handle, like a raglan baseball 3/4 sleeve shirt. Something about the fabric made it not want to hold a pleat! BAAAAA :crankey:

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts, if you decide to work with them.

It's a good chance to be creative. Tie and dye one, learn the properties of the fabric, and use them to your advantage on the rest of them.
