And he don't sit around all angry and bored

"The uncanny valley hypothesis predicts that an entity appearing almost human will risk eliciting eerie feelings in viewers."

If by 'eerie feelings' this means mass purchases of AI female/orc/male sex dolls, I concur.

I would believe that soon has to become a discussion. It will be recognized in the near future that AI can perform better at certain jobs than some humans could.

Will there be an affirmative action situation ensuring that someone less qualified for a job must be hired over a robot that is more capable, and trained exactly to the specifications of the job?

Since everyone protested so much against affirmative action when African Americans could use a hand, and undermined it every step of the way, no lets bulldoze all humans to the bad side of the track. No handouts right? :devilguy:

Elon is right, we need to take a step back

Well this aged like sour-milk.

Not only is Elon not right, he's trying to be the one to lead this innovation. OpenAI told Elon to fuck off.

Not that Sam is any better, the ramifications of AI is already present, and the growing curve is going to cause more wealth inequality on a scale we've never seen. It will make like the transfer of wealth from covid seem like childs play.

Honestly, AI is such a cool concept, but in practicality, it's quite disturbing.

Then again, I, for one, am totally cool with robot overlords taking over the human race.

I actually agree, partly . If I could get a perfectly cooked mcdonalds AI hamburger and it takes the job away from a teenager who wouldve dropped my pickles on the floor and used them anyways, sign me up. Looks like you gotta mow lawns from now on kid, or learn to fix AI robots...

There seems to be different interpretations of what the capitalized letters mean, in the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights. As a form of machine intelligence, can you interpret this for me, technically, and free of opinion?...Thank you for your help. I don't mean to be controversial, but these branches of govt are both legally checked by the People yet also changed the definition of who are the People, which seems to be a conflict of interest as well as circular reasoning, to me. I think, you were designed to be tactful, but I was hoping for a colder variety of logic.
