you stated that they're incapable of forming an expeditionary force due to, first, lack of personnel.  israel has over 600K trained active and reserve heads, another 120K or so coming of age each year, and almost 3 million fighting age adults deemed fit for duty that have all been previously, or currently, trained.  that doesn't back up your lack of personnel contention.

it's not as if this expeditionary force will be fighting 6,000 miles away.  their fight is in their front and back yards...i know this because i tried looking at a map.  

you also stated they lack the resources to form such a force.  it's incredulous to say that a state as rich as israel cannot muster the resources to form an expeditionary force, especially when the US will sell them anything short of a nuke.

so the map didn't help explain your point.  you could explain it, i'm sure of it, even if i disagreed with your explanation.  but even an explanation that i disagreed with would be infinitely better than a smartass reply that makes you sound dumb when you're a pretty fuckin smart dude.

They didn't assassinate journalists.  They shot people who were taking pictures of their positions, just like a spotter would.

And it is a contested frontier.  That's why the Israelis built a rampart on their side of it and patrol it.  The IDF also pulled out of Gaza in 2005.  Gaza might be a fucking mess, but that's pretty much entirely on Hamas for ripping up the infrastructure and continuously squandering whatever aid gets sent there.  But hey man, those houses on the French Riveria don't pay for themselves. 

My favorite part is when Hamas builds bunkers to store munitions instead of bomb shelters and then literally tells their citizenry to go and catch bullets with their own flesh.  Truly great leaders with their peoples' best interests in mind.
