all the pieces were done in less than 20 hours with a chainsaw, the NY pitcher and the lary are done with only chainsaw, the other two were sanded with grinders, all paint done by hand. I sell them for less than minimum wadge, any ideas.

Have you thought of doing abstract wooden sculptures? Personally I rather have a really cool looking wooden piece that resembles no humans

You have talent in what you do thogh that's for sure. Keep it up. My sig is actually a hand made wooden sculpture as well. Wood art rocks

thank you for the compliment and tips, oh how i dream of carving some artsy life size nudes and strange abstract pieces, I have been an apprentice to a chainsaw carver for 20+ years and it was not until this spring when I decided to carve myself. it was quite random, when I was asked to try to carve a baseball player, A man wanted one And i was so broke i decided why not give it a try and the batter came out. after the batter sold the buyer wanted more, and so I am carving more, hence the sports action figures. I am only carving the sports figures at this time. As soon as I can aford to carve on my own behalf, i want to create a 80-120 hour nude, much unlike the 18hour figures i posted above. ive got a long way to go with learning so the sports figures are great practice.

acid monster awesome detail on the pic of your work!

sound like a peaceful piece,(ithink i ve seen it done via chainsaw) it wont require a 500lb 7ft log either, i couldn't do buddha in pine tho, it would have to be a dark wood like mahogany or walnut, ill have to locate some...
