At one point up here we were paying $4.65/gallon

several million barrels were released fro the reserves in
late september, that's why the price has dropped

$2.65 and I live in one of the most energy rich areas of the country and have a refinery 12 miles from my house!! :crankey:

It's around $2.38 here in central Arkansas, and it is dropping daily.

Went to Little Rock yesterday and the prices were around $2.70-$2.75. That seemes odd to me since L.R. is only 40 miles from me.

Now $2.95 in Central Florida, compared to around $3.69 at the beginning of the month. Gas in the U.S. is now cheaper than a gallon of milk again.

I wonder if the price plunge is connected with the upcoming election..
