His wife had to know about it. There is no way you could have a secret dungeon below you house with a whole family living in it for 20 years, and no notice it. She is just as guilty as him.

I don't know if you can lump her in with the same judgment as him. I'm sure she was deathly afraid of her husband. Still fucked up that she didn't say anything, but I think she is probably slightly less guilty than he.

Oh by and large they welcomed them alright. All Im saying is, its not surprising to me that there are fucked up Austrians and I find it absurd that a newspaper is shocked to find that out. Im not saying this guy is a Nazi, but I bet his grandfather or father was :shrug:

i've heard of a few fucked up situations like this. guys kidnapping girls and keeping them locked in home-made basement chambers for years on end as sex slaves.

makes me want to go slit random throats and hope that i kill a fuck-up like these guys.

There was a dude a few years ago in a Syracuse suburb that did that shit. I guess some chick escaped or some shit and blew him in. Had a whole series of underground shit, bigger than his house I think.
