I'm surprised theres so many people on right now.

If you guys don't mind, I just want to say how much long distance relationships fucking suck. It causes so many problems. All the time. It causes fights. Stress levels are through the roof because we never get to see eachother. I work during the week, she works weekends mostly, so or schedules don't line up for shit. Seeing each other is a fucking job and a half because when we want to see each other it's a 3 hour trip, 4.5 hours by train. It's so expensive just to spend time with her (even though the time apart does help the wallet a little.) 3 years of doing this. We didn't even go to the same school, we were still an hour drive from each other when we were doing that. I love the girl but this setup is driving a stake through my heart lately.

I lived with her for a few months. I bummed it and moved into her college single because she was in school a semester longer than me. I set myself back in my career path just to be with her, but I didn't really care at the time. Now the fact that we knew what it was like to be together for that long makes everything so much worse now. Especially because she still lives at home, and there is no immediate plan in the future to get us set up again because we both aren't financially stable enough yet.
