I became a fool when I first decided to believe in something...I chose in something seemingly rational to place my half-hearted faith in, acting irrationally to even choose to believe in something, instead of letting my beliefs form naturally. To even think that I can place my faith in something is foolish, because faith can not be consciously manipulated, it is an honest belief. Faith can not be placed upon things because we have concluded that it is logical or rational, but, faith is placed upon things by a deeper subconscious sense of truth.

Then I got to the point where I was actually searching for ideas to place my "faith" in. I was no longer listening to my instincts and beliefs, but to my conscious interpretations of what my beliefs are, which are then pressured by my idea of what I think my beliefs should be.

I have felt for a while that I no longer listen to my true faith and belief...it has been ignored because of self-doubt, and drowned out in neurotic attempts at grasping onto logic and rationality.

You don't need to have faith in anything, just enjoy your life for what it's worth.

i think faith is inescapable. you even need to have faith in logic and science.

lol well I met a chick and then I realized that if I was to meet someone who has relationship potential, then I wasn't ready for it. So since then I have been changing myself for the better, making myself a person I would deem acceptable for a healthy relationship...

Anyway, I tripped earlier today on some mushrooms and really that is what got me going...

So no, where you thought I was at when making my thread, was not really where I was at.
