cutting your own hair

so i bought a hair clipper machine thingy and thought i'd try to cut my own hair. now i'm having second thoughts. anyone else knows how to successfully cut your own hair and not end up looking like a dick?

I've been cutting my own hair for years and I do a pretty good job at it. It's one of those things you have to get good at though.

I wouldn't cut it my own hair personally. I Would ruin it most likely. You could always let it grow?

I cut my hair all the time . . . with a razor :grin:

Just shave it off man, it's so much easier then cutting your own hair

plus it's free!

Hair clipper with number 1 or 2 guard. Cut evenly all over head. Then take off guard and cut the fluff off the back of your neck. Takes 3 minutes. Nothing special, but saves you 10 bucks

yeah, if your going to shave it off all you need to do is put whatever size guard you want on then run it all along your head, it's ridiculously simple.

whoever goes to a hair dressers to get their hair shaved is an idiot since it's so simple to do with a set of clippers.

that's if your shaving it though, if your trying to go for some sort of style then i'd consider getting it cut by someone else.

I shave my head, which of course is very easy to do. But as the guy said above, if you're trying to actually style it, go to a professional place.

with clippers it's easy, especially if you just buzz it all one length. i've been doing it for years.

It'll work for a buzz cut for sure. otherwise, it looks pretty lame. I cut my own hair, trying to keep it semi long but not too long, for a while and it looked like shit. now i just buzz the whole thing.

You don't even need to give yourself a military buzz cut all one length. Those clippers come with different length attachments for a reason.

If it comes out looking stupid well, you might be stupid. Its not that hard.
