Big weilii find with date

This is by far my largest weilii find to date. I'm going to post some pictures and hopefully I don't have any nasties mixed in(almost sure I don't). If you live in weilii land go looking now they were EVERY FUCKING WHERE.

Habitat: Bermuda(whatever the short stuff is in upscale lawns)
Location:Roswell, GA
Definite bluing on stems and caps
Also, is there any need to wash these off as the owners of the lawn may have spread pesticides or something? Do I need to wash them while they are fresh or can I do it after they are dry?

a little rinse under the sink wouldn't hurt make sure you dry them properly ..I don't think trying to wash dry shrooms would be a good idea... unless you were planning on eating them right then...

Weather is perfect and there is a chance of rain every day for the next week! All I did was rinse them off a bit under the sink and stuck in the food dehydrator. Should be alright. Also, what temperature is safe to use in a nesco food dehydrator? I have it on 95 right now.

Isn't Roswell in Northwest Fulton?  That area all kind of runs together up there in my memory...:stoned:

I have to go to Cobb tomorrow and hope to find something.

Its pretty close but I don't think it is. You would want to stick to Roswell/Woodstock or Cherokee county. My spot is very near Woodstock and Roswell.

Yes!! Just seeing this is making me want my trip to Bartow to come even quicker. Keep me updated on how things look in a couple of weeks, for that's when I'll be going.

Edit: Weilii seem pretty easy to ID when they are found, am I right?

Very right. You may find some psathyrella, but those are easy to identify. My spot seems to be magical. EVERY TIME I see a mushroom, it ends up being a weilii. Maybe I'm a lucky bastard, who knows. Most of my weilii's end up have bluing on them somewhere and the psathyrella have kind of furryish caps with completely different textures and no bluing.

Lol north fulton and cherokee arent the only places to find em lol , hell they grow alll over the fuckin place where i stay and im in neither of those countys i found a good 1/2oz dry today !!

It sure is interesting how these things just popped up over the past few years in these counties. I mean they must have been around before but this is nuts. People find ridiculous amounts of these things. Can anyone explain the science behind this massive invasion of weilii? Had they ever been found before 1996? Perhaps they are a some other species of fungus that mutated and found its where down here and really liked it. Fascinating really. Good hunting everyone. So confirmed weilii counties are:Cobb, Fulton, Cherokee, and where else? Dekalb? Everywhere around metro Atlanta?

They guy who ran it closed it down. Forget why. It's been down for a few months. And anyone care to speculate how much my haul will weigh dry?

My guess would be about 1.5grams.

Edit: 1/2ounce = 14grams/10 = 1.4grams

I will tell you tomorrow. How long do mushrooms take to be cracker dry at 95 degrees in a food dehydrator, anyways?

dont use heat in the dehydrator just air put a fan over it, And i was the Co-Owner of weilii.com , yes we took the site down because in the long run we felt it was drawing too much attention to our doings in the area

Well the dehydrator has a temp gauge on it and I turned it all the way down( to 95) Is that ok? Will the psilocybin still degraded after 24 hours in that little heat?
