Grubs/Japanese Beetles
    #6702629 -

In the last two years they have completely devoured the lawn, roses, and grapes. I have finally resorted to using Grub X, just curious if others have problems with these and if anyone's found any good solutions?

Ive had good success with nematodes.

Also get some of those traps for the adult beetles.

Traps have worked well to reduce the adult population here, but I prefer the above method myself!

I've heard the nematodes are a scam....  do you have any more info on it?

I'll be trying Lime Sulphur, merit and what the heck, some Milky spore

That reminds me of this one time at my friend's house.  He had these bees living in the ground that he kept trying to get rid of but they kept coming beck year after year. While we were hanging out they stung one of my other friends so we decided to go to war.  We poured gas in the hole and lit it on fire. Then they sent me out to stab around with a shovel and try to find where the actual nest was underground while they guided me to where they thought it was.  Meanwhile a friend who lived there put a running lawnmoewer over the burning hole (he likes to do crazy shit like that).  There were bees flying or being sucked out on fire.  After, we dug up the nest we flooded the whole thing with water and I'm pretty sure we set the water on fire after that.  The bees never came back, but I'm sure with gas prices these days you don't want to go there.

Yeah that's what I was expecting when it was happening. It wasn't a smart idea. But how many people can say they've seen bees flying on fire?
