What book?

Trainwreck said:
I picked up this book today. "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene. It discusses this new idea called "superstring" theory. It's like a combination of Einsteins theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. Which actually are exact opposites of each other. But it's a whole new approach to the whole space time thing. I don't totally understand it yet, I've only ready about 20 pages. But it's going to be awesome.

I dunno... you're not giving me any material here.

What would an LNC thread be without me accusing you of being emo?

Michael Talbot, it was an interesting read. There is even some examples of LSD testing used as evidence for theories supported. Nothing conclusive really, just brain fodder.

I'm contemplating waking my girlfriend up to smoke.  She knows we only have about 2 bowls left, so if I smoke one without her, she'll notice.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.
