It is a printed seed germinator. Test #1 it holds water to a certain point....then leaks like a mother fucker šŸ’€

Test #2 will be tomorrow. I will print another bottom and go buy some flex seal.

Im using saran wrap to hold the water while I test germination.



Just printed adjustable lst clips too. Fucking badass they are :rockman:

Ohhhhhh that's way cooler than what I thought. Let me know if you ever get it to stop leaking, I'd consider buying a few

This is crazy. I literally put a couple seeds in it earlier when I took the pic just to test how well it germinates with no heating. No heating mat or nothing, just sitting on my table in my kitchen...


And hell yeah, ill let you know how the flex seal experiment goes tomorrow :thumbup:

I also have some more heavy duty printing material I may mess with tonight as well. Either way I cant believe this seed opened already :mindblown:

I've always germinated my seeds in soil so I've never been able to witness this stage. That's dope as fuck.

Oh....you want to see something REALLY cool I did recently?

I got some mega runtz by solfire, I tested one seed, it didnt germ....so I removed the embryo,removed the film around the embryo, added iba powder to a moist towel, added the embryo to the towel and stuck it in a mylar bag, set that against my router for a day, then put it in soil....and this is the second time ive done it, I did it with gmo oz a couple weeks before that but this time I made a pics or it didn't happen :lol:

Performing a cesarean section on a seed is very impressive. I doubt any of my growers friends have attempted that.

Germination is so cool.

I agree. I used precision tweezers to remove the shell and film and I found the best spot to reliably remove the film around the embryo :rockman:
