Ipod Question

Had a quick question and i figured there might be some cool geeks to help me out in the pub.

When I pause a song or change a song, if i go back to that song at a later date it picks up where I left off. Is there any way I can turn this off? I find it really fuckin annoying.

160GB Classic is the way to go :awesome:
I have the first 160GB iPod Classic before they drop the 80GB & 160GB for the 120GB and then decided to go back to a 160GB

Try this. In iTunes, right click on a song that does this, in the Options tab check to see if "Remember playback position" is checked. This is an option for audiobooks, videos and podcasts and should not be checked for music. If it is checked hi-light all your music in iTunes, right click one choosing "Get Info". You can batch edit them all by checking the Options/Remember playback position setting it to "No".

Of course after doing that you'll have to sync your iPod up for the changes to reflect your iPod's content.

Dude, youre awesome for helping me with that, only one snag. I can't do it in a batch. I can only do it song by song, and i have over 5,000.

Any suggestions?

You should be able to do it in a batch. Just click on any song, hit Ctrl+A (or go to Edit > Select All) and then right click on any song, click Get Info, then go to the options tab.
