I hope it works out! Everyone should know syrian rue is antifungal and should be added after the harvest somehow. I heard tea is good too

*all quoted from "Fungal Biology" 4th edit. by Jim Deacon

I needed a good read, and this is what I was looking for.

Toadstool5 responded on 07/11/15 08:27 PM:

No problem, try searching for a pdf of the book on google. I found a high-quality version after a few links.

There are lots of good books on fungi but "Fungal Biology" is one of the more advanced and comprehensive collection i have found.

Contamination
12/23/15 02:38 PM

Re: Re: Is this chaetomium or trichoderma? Microscope pics included.

Toadstool took the time to help me identify some contamination. Toadstool proved to be a very good member of this community! Thanks

Toadstool5 responded on 12/25/15 12:55 PM:

Thanks! I just wish i had the equipment and skills to help determine which species it is.

Trichoderma nomenclature and IDing are very flawed right now but there is some hope for clarity in the future between harzianum, atroviride, and aggressivum. It will be very beneficial to mushroom farmers using biological controls against fungal pathogens.
