If you live your life with love then when you die there will be no regrets, then death will be okay instead of bad. At your funeral you want people to celebrate who you were, how you were, what you did with life. People don't say "well at least he had a big bank account" but they do celebrate that people lived with love and how they treated other people. So if you just do the right thing, live for love, then death is kind of a beautiful end rather than a tragedy. So for me, if I was afraid of death right now, that would probably just mean I'm not proud of myself right now. Maybe you've lived a tragic life, and hence you're afraid of death. Watch a Disney movie, they teach you adversity from tragedy. I've found my mind is my own worst enemy. It makes stupid decisions I regret later. My heart makes the right choices, my brain/mind screws it up. See so if you just live for love, follow your heart (not your mind/brain) and then when you die it'll be okay. My best guess is you're not even afraid of death. You're afraid of not living the best life you can. Because once you die, you can't go back. But then again you can can never go back to yesterday either. Doesn't mean we should fear sunsets. It means live each day to its fullest. That doesn't mean go bungee jumping tomorrow, that's your brain/mind. It means call your friends and family. Say hello. Hug someone if they need a hug. Follow your heart, not your brain, because what's the opposite of "fearing your death" ? Loving your Life. | |||||
