Odd....

That you're a member for around 2 1/2 years, only 32 posts, and zero ratings?

Well, let's fix that.

Here is your first rating, and I think you deserve +5 :mushroom2:...for all your awesome posting in this thread:

Too many heartless, overly-conservative shills around these parts. To be honest, sometimes it really screws with my faith in humanity. I mean, we are theoretically talking about people who love psychedelics enough to congregate on the shroomery.  And yet even repeatedly (if not regularly) eating psychedelics has not helped them see the errors of their harsh and critical views toward their fellow man?

If a bunch of psychedelic enthusiasts can't be made to see it, what hope do we have for the rest of society?

Then along comes someone like you. Someone who literally helps restore my faith in humanity, by showing that you "get it."

It's not an unreasonable search; don't apply for benefits if you don't want drug tested. If you're struggling to eat, you shouldn't be spending your money on drugs.

For one, a failed drug test isn't necessarily proof that someone spent money on drugs.
But, more importantly, addiction is hardly that simple. You should know better. I would be fine with this if instead of cutting benefits outright you instead were provided treatment for your addiction(for free) as a condition of continuing to receive benefits, don't follow through with treatment then you are out.

Potentially all this does is make already desperate people with an out of control problem even more desperate...I'm sure it will end well everytime.

You stick around and keep bringing that logic. We need more of you. Everywhere.
I wish I could rate you higher.
