dude sent me a swab with a plastic stick that didn't have any visible spores at all. tried breaking the swab off in a jar and it just twisted and bent, because it's plastic. it was obviously not sterile, because again....it's plastic. it would have melted 8n a pc cycle. they don't use polypropylene for swabs. so disappointed!!! i've been searching for ufo mutants for months, this dude contacts me, and now the swab i was sent is sitting on the bottom of my sab contaminated as all fuck, and useless, because this swab the spores were on wasn't even close to a proper carrier for this hobby.

As we have already discussed, your methods are to blame and your assumptions about being able to autoclave these swabs etc are wrong and ignorant.
I have checked with a handful of other growers and they all say the same: the things you are trying to do are not "quite common" (i hope) but flawed and sketchy. It's not how to do things and it's not my fault you accidentally found out you are not supposed to do certain things. Don't lash out, take some responsibility.
They are a fine carrier, but you didnt know what to do with them and went ahead anyway. I tried to help but you're just angry, convinced its all my fault, it must be.

I apologize again. They were supposed to be reshipped by my guy, an otherwise reputable shroomerite i dont want to name since it was my proposal in the beginning. However he had things going on and sat on them for over 6 months without having worked on them. (hm at least i thought it was that long but at least until not long before i did my absolute fastest to get them to you - maybe 4-5 months then).
But I accept responsibility as the organizer, i didn't realize there would be this level of complication and irreliability and it shouldn't have become your problem.
You can have your money back.

I was lucky enough to pick up one of Solipsis' cultures in a givaway. It arrived quickly, sent in a small vial, and was perfectly clean when put to agar a few days ago. Very happy guy here. Thanks again!
