"As a last result, if the jar stops colonizing you can birth it and cut off the uncolonized part. Im guessing its probably best to wait longer before doing that though."

I gave you 3 because you were trying to help with this post, I know, but NEVER advise someone to cut anything out of their cake, that will contam for sure and fuck up a grow. Simple as that.
Hang around the shroomery and show that you're learning etc and I'll fix that rating for you. You seem like a good person, so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.

*edit to fix rating as discribed in the post, Apparently I have learning to do as well :bigjoint: Hope to keep seeing you around man*

sorry man, like I said I'm a noob, but I thought I had read of people successfully cutting off uncolonized parts of a stalled cake. For instance this post and the response of RR:

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/8977927

Birth, cut off or rinse off any uncolonized areas, and then dunk and roll.  Next time, use the correct sized jars and I doubt you'll have that problem.
RR

Am I miss interpreting this?
