You sound like a truly amazing person and I am very sorry you had to experience that kind of betrayl. My bf is an ex-opiate addict and I'm trying to help him overcome his cravings for a substance to make him feel "normal" as well. I'm trying to help him see what an amazing person he is even without the meds. It's really hard sometimes to help people because sometimes they'll just take advantage of you or take you forgranted. Luckily this hasn't happened to me with bf, but it has happened with many friends I've tried to help. You sound kind of like me in that aspect. You see the good in people and will try you hardest to help them realize their potential, and help them see all the beauty there is in the world. I wish you the best. Take care! Love and Light
