Thanks for the MG contest!

Your stash looks very promising, and the contest was a fun idea.

Your rating of me says:

The reason people are asking questions about ergot cultivation is because they know nothing about it! Do you really think they know anything about lsd synth? I'm glad your conscience is "free of guilt" knowing some psuedo-cook/chemist is ingesting ergot alkaloids they THINK to be some form of LSD.

Yet in the thread you're referring to:

Instead, you suggest an LSD synthesis that is purely hypothetical. So while the "tek" I have put on the boards involves known procedures that are well documented and known to work, you claim that a never-been-tried synthesis is assured to be more safe. That is absurd.

The reaction you have quoted involves producing a Grignard. Grignard's are known to react with carbonyl groups. LSD contains a carbonyl group. The hypothetical reaction you're quoting might very well produce an unwanted byproduct, yet for some reason you think that it's better than a reaction that is known to work. You don't know anything about chemistry, so please don't make chemistry-related suggestions.

You also claimed that ergot cultivation is "probably fatal." Back that up with evidence. That's all I ask.
