Between many many acid trips and dealing with other people this is my conclusion. Understand the connection, but realize the dangers that come with caring so much and feeling a oneness with people. Some people look at empathy in others like it's some sort of weakness, but I feel empathy is a strength as long as you remain mindful. LSD has helped me immensely in the past. It opened my eyes and let me see the beauty and the dangers of other people. I try to be mindful and sympathetic, but I also am careful and understanding that everyone doesn't feel this way. The people with their inner eyes glued shut don't care if you are a empathetic person, they just care what they can get from you before you recognize them for what they are. I even feel a oneness with these people, because I empathize with them even if I don't agree with their way of thinking. We are one after all.

This is just how I feel. I have tripped a lot in the past and it has definitely shaped my personality. I try to keep the ego down and the empathy up, but sometimes your emotions aren't as logical as you want them to be. It's not a bad idea to let certain people know you have the capacity to explode on them if need be. I always feel like I have a connection to everything around me, but I know that connection can be dangerous if I am not mindful of it.
