Love your outside of the box thinking. There was a time when many ideas were often shut down by others merely because these ways were perhaps not how our elders would have traditionally done them. Your well documented experiments and argumentation force even the most conservative to realize there are different (and often better) ways of doing things.

Good to see you posting more lately. You have some of the most interesting ideas and your posts always get me thinking. There was one the other day where you were talking about your LC (microwaving it, letting it crash in the fridge, decanting, etc)...I tried it and it works great. No more LME sediment. |

Re: Re: To soak or not to soak A 2 year old post on a 2 year old topic was helpful for me. Wouldn't want to piss everybody off and bump an old thread though. |

I can always appreciate someone who doesn't disqualify methods for being untested or experimental. |

Awesome, experimental cultivator, not judgmental. Doing a lot to improve the hoby, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of his ideas would be applicable to improving efficiency in the commercial industry. He's helped me out with my microwave projects, and is seemingly an infinite source of knowledge on the matter. Poeple be going like this ![]() When they should be going like this

blackout posts some great information. he knows his shit! so i find myself wanting to update my rating to 100 shrooms if there were a rating. i have to say blackout is extremely well spoken, logical, experimental, and a very nice guy that loves to share information with everyone. he strives to make forums like this a better place and keep it cordial. im updating this rating because what he said in this post are some of the best words i have read on this forum. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/ Last Edited 11/24/14 05:14 PM |

I really enjoyed reading some of your side by side experiments. I came to the same conclusions as you btw on bloodmeal.

I loved your explanation regarding fractional sterilization, textbook vs. practical, and how if people went "textbook" with PC methods, they would cook grain for fifteen minutes. I have a good PC and don't know when/if I'll try it, but I highly respect people like blackout who research and perfect innovative methods. Just consider the PF tek. | |||||
