I like the way you handled yourself in that mushboy thread
02/16/17 04:46 PM

Can't believe mushboy gave you a bad rating, hes 1) a child, at least today, he's been alright in the past 2) going to feel like a fucking idiot when he realizes he's the wrong one.

But back to the point you just handled yourself well when those two guys were feeding you nonsense, you objectively refuted them without flaming/being a dick back, which is a nice change of pace here on the web. 5 shrooms, keep up the good work.

I promise other people on the boards are not like them

I wonder, is he a true olden times enthusiast or merely quoting the office.

One of my favorite members here, and we just "met."

You translated what I suspected might be baseless rage into articulate sentences that proved (to me) the validity of that rage.

And for this I sincerely thank you.
I hope that one day a larger portion of this community will see the light...the light being peaceful collaboration.

Seriously everybody reading this should go through this thread if you want to see a new guy utterly and justifiably trashing everything wrong with the way some people interact on this website, many of them seasoned forum users.

Get used to it weetsie, this is the average response of 80% of the community to any experimental new idea, plausible or not. There are people like us out there, though we tend to get banned/bullied by dogmatic mods.

Good on you for seeing through the bullshit in my thread

for sticking it to RR when he deserved it most
08/08/16 11:24 AM

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/9540551/fpart/3/vc/1#9540551 I was losing all hope in this community as I read this thread, and then fast fred came along and articulately destroyed RR's dogmatic position, while remaining completely civil/polite.

Thank you for keeping the dream of cheaper/DIY hepa filters alive in this ocean of naysayers.

Fairly polite for an internet disagreement. Anything that doesn't devolve into namecalling gets a +5 in my book

Psychedel.EXE responded on 08/04/16 01:49 PM:

ALRIGHT! I was actually pleasantly surprised by our exchange myself. I wish the internet always behaved this nicely.

needless naysayer. Maybe have something to actually add to a conversation if you're going to needlessly shit on new innovations

Solid communication skills, generous, and well packaged.
07/14/16 01:37 PM

Even when our communication get a bit tense for a message or two, he was very mature about it (not that he was in the wrong or anything, but you know how people on the internet tend to be) and communicated effectively.

Looked like it had been packaged by a vendor  Would trade again any day.

Fast, well packaged

I remarked to a room mate that the syringe was packaged more professionally than the ones vendors sell.

Protesting the unwarranted closure of violets microwave agar thread
04/06/16 01:01 AM

I can't believe you don't see the merit in making teks that are accessible to beginners. When you closed that thread and compared it to strain discussion, you lost my respect. MULTIPLE TC's voiced interest in trying it, as did the community in general. Closing that thread was a despicable act.

Never touch a microwave again for all we care, but let the innovators like violet have their tek threads ffs...its hurting nothing and nobody to let one thread continue to live.

See for yourself folks: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22707554/fpart/9/vc/1#22707554

it wasnt my call, I just did the task but you can feel however you want.  :emo:
and if you think violet is an innovator then forever a noob you shall be.  :laugh2:
the only reason violet does those type of "beginner friendly" teks is because she cant follow/complete an already proven existing tek.  :hehehe:

you're incredible
03/09/16 08:19 AM

Doesn't listen to a word the TC's say when anybody with eyes can see that that isn't mycelium and is very obviously black mold. Really funny, genuinely wondering if you're for real or trolling. I don't think a troll would risk his health by SPAWNING black mold to  bulk :rofldrunk: :laugh2: Seriously the best thing a noob has ever done on this site, bravo sir.
He spawned black mold to bulk substrate...just wow. We get lots of noobish noobs on here but you've got a fucking death wish :laugh2: :congrats: If you get pins off that thing I'll have your baby.

Obviously believes in himself strongly, which can be a good thing.
