Not sure why you're so argumentative (in the well-being forum?), but I didn't want to bump that now-ridiculous polyamory thread again, so here's a rating.

In a rather scathing review of my comprehension skills, you mentioned that:

Quote:

Both "wrong" and "fault" each do have multiple definitions, yet none of these definitions of the two words are overlapping.

News flash: "at fault" is a synonym of "wrong."  If your arguments are so pointed that the tiniest discrepancy throws them completely off track, I hope you can understand that you likely don't have an argument at all.
Oh yeah, here's some more of your genius.

Quote:

Obviously, there's no grounds for imagining I'm expecting everyone to have the exact same definitions of words with multiple definitions when the fact that these words have multiple definitions is completely irrelevant to your mix-up of the words and still irrelevant to the fact that the failure on your part to understand what I wrote has nothing to do with an exactitude of definition of one word, but rather how multiple words, modifiers and conjunctions, delineated precisely my intended meaning.

:huxleyfacepalm: You're a real thinker.

fireworks_god responded on 03/07/10 04:38 PM:

Its not my responsibility that you have great difficulty reading.
Wrong: not in accordance with what is morally right or good, deviating from truth or fact, not correct or in error, out of order, not suitable or appropriate.
Fault: a defect or failing, responsibility for failure or a wrongful act, an error or mistake, a misdeed.
And, more specifically, at fault: blameworthy.
No doubt that the words are related, in that they can be commonly used to describe the same thing, but they don't have the same meaning. They are used differently because they don't have the same meaning.

For you to allege here that my argument doesn't exist because it is supposedly so pointed that any discrepancy throws it off track is convenient for you, considering that my ratings page doesn't document the fact that you completely ignored my critiques of your point of view on the subject and could never actually understand what I was saying, deliberately chopping my sentences in half to hide the fact that your understanding of what I was saying wasn't at all what I actually did say.
In essence, you emotionally objected to my point of view on the topic but didn't have any kinds of rational means of demonstrating that it wasn't actually the case, so you were the one who only focused on discussing your misunderstanding of one word I used and ignored the rest of the discussion.
Which is why you bailed the thread and w-h-i-n-e-d on my ratings page. :failboat:

"Life's too short to waste it suffering. I'd much rather navigate my way through important circumstances in which there are risks and responsibilities with a calm, collected, responsive disposition than to confuse my mind, wasting its energy on punishing itself, and preventing it from clearly focusing on the tasks and circumstances at hand."
