Bulk substrate pasteurization weight - made from mortar, formed in a 5 gallon bucket. I used foam gap filler hot glued to the bucket to form holes.

I used some stainless wire to form handle. This lets me heat the water and this weight to 160 F, then add straw in a paint strainer, and hold it down.

Chart I made to estimate extra PSI gained by adding mass to a PCer jiggler weight. It climbs very quickly!!! I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!!! TOO DANGEROUS!!!!

I had once considered adding mass to my PCer jiggler weight, but I think it's too dangerous on cheap PCers. The 23 qt. Prestos & AAs are probably safe

If your PCer is a cheap one like mine, I DO NOT RECOMMEND adding mass to the jiggler weight. The bottom of mine is already convex just from 15 PSI!
