Sorry if this question is already posted but I've searched all over the net with no luck. My uncle is a schizophrenic, but I've been wanting to do shrooms for a while. From research I've read pretty much the same thing everywhere I looked: "Individuals with a family history of schizophrenia or early onset mental illness should be extremely careful because mushrooms have been known to trigger latent psychological and mental problems." My question is: is it possible to develop PERMANENT schizophrenia from taking shrooms no more than 10 times? If it helps in answering my question, I've been smoking weed almost everyday for one to two years with absolutely no problems and I have a lot of control over my high. I also tried a half eighth of shrooms once but barely tripped. I just want to make sure it's not a big risk before I try more. Thanks for the help!
